Kyrie Irving Shines, Luka Doncic Muted in 2023 NBA All-Star Game
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving made history on Sunday, becoming the first Dallas Mavericks duo to be starters in an NBA All-Star Game since 2010. They were both selected by notable fan LeBron James to be part of Team LeBron, but the team lost despite their presence. Irving had a great night, tallying 32 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds in 29 minutes of play, while Doncic was quieter, with four points and five assists in the game.
The All-Star Game certainly lived up to the hype, despite Giannis Antetokounmpo getting limited minutes and LeBron James suffering an unfortunate finger injury that ruled him out of the second half.
