Anton Walkes Killed in Miami Boat Accident
Charlotte FC defender Anton Walkes passed away in the early hours of Thursday, succumbing to injuries sustained in a boat accident near the Miami Marine Stadium basin. He was only 25 years old.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported that Walkes was discovered unconscious and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital. It is believed he was the operator of one of the vessels that collided during the incident.
