The San Francisco 49ers secured their spot in the NFC Divisional Round with a Super Wild Card Weekend victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday. On Monday night, the Dallas Cowboys made their own advancement to the Divisional game after defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-14. As the No. 2 seed in the NFC, the 49ers will host the Cowboys at Levi's® Stadium in a showdown to determine who will move on to the NFC Championship Game.

The San Francisco 49ers added to their impressive postseason record with a victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round. Notching their 23rd home win in postseason play, the 49ers also improved to 1-1 against the Seahawks in the playoffs. Under head coach Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco is now 5-2 in the postseason and have advanced to the Divisional Round for the third time in the last four seasons. The team's overall record in the Wild Card Round now stands at 6-2, with a 4-0 record at home.

Each week, I get to interview various 49ers players and alumni for the team's only podcast focused on the players. In the most recent episode, defensive linemen Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw joined the 49ers “You've Got Mail” podcast presented by Manscaped to discuss their plans for the upcoming season with San Francisco and respond to questions from fans about football, life, and more.

The San Francisco 49ers have added to their roster, signing defensive back A.J. Parker to a Reserve/Future contract.

Parker, standing at 5-11, 178, was an undrafted free agent who originally signed with the Detroit Lions in May 2021. He played in 16 games (7 starts) with the Lions over two seasons (2021-22), recording 61 tackles, 7 passes defensed, one interception, and one forced fumble.
