The LA Clippers could potentially have a key addition to their lineup when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves, as a major injury update looms.

The LA Clippers may be rejoining forces with Ivica Zubac for their Tuesday night clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The starting center has been absent for the previous two games, but has now been tabbed as questionable for the matchup with Minnesota. Should all go to plan, Zubac's return could be in the cards.

Zubac has served as a defensive cornerstone for the Clippers this season, with his presence regularly salvaging struggling defensive units in both the starting lineup and bench groups. The Clippers have often been forced to remove him from action early in the first quarter given the lack of a backup center, yet Zubac is consistently brought back to bolster the defense of three-guard bench groups. His defensive contributions have been invaluable for the team, and the two-game absence of his presence has undeniably been felt on the Clippers' end.

The Los Angeles Clippers are hoping to regain the services of center Ivica Zubac in time for their upcoming game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. His return would mean that Mason Plumlee would move back to the bench and give the team more stability in their rotations.

Westbrook has yet to have the chance to play alongside Zubac, as his joining of the team was followed by iis injury absence. With two losses already suffered, the Clippers are in risk of entering the play-in picture and will subsequently be desperate to get a win against Minnesota on Tuesday. If Zubac is available for this game, it could be of great benefit to the team in their attempt to stay out of the play-in.
