Remains Discovered at Lake Mead

On May 1, 2022, boaters at Lake Mead found the initial group of human remains. Covered in a barrel close to Hemenway Harbor, the body had passed on from a shot wound, with the way of his demise being murder. These remains have not yet been identified.
"The casualty's attire and shoes were acquired from Kmart in the mid to late 1970s," Lt. Ray Spencer from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department mentioned at the hour of revelation.
On August 18, paddleboarders discovered human remains in the Callville Bay area of Lake Mead. After further inspection, it was determined that the remains were those of Thomas Erndt, who was from Las Vegas and had gone swimming in the lake on August 2, 2002, with two other adults and his two children. Unfortunately, Erndt was never seen again and was 42 at his death.
In July, authorities confirmed the discovery of human remains at Lake Mead - the third such finding in as many months. Jesus Catalan, a witness to the event, managed to capture the incident on camera.
On October 17, a diver stumbled across a bone belonging to a human in the Callville Bay area of the lake. The following day, further skeletal remains were uncovered.
In March of this year, the Clark County department were able to identify the remains as belonging to Mr. Donald Smith from North Las Vegas, who had been a victim of drowning at the lake almost 49 years previously.
