Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth to End Marriage

Reese Witherspoon and her spouse Jim Toth have confirmed they are ending their marriage of 12 years.
The Hollywood star and film producer revealed the news on her verified Instagram page in a shared statement from the both of them.
The post read: “We have some personal news to share… After a great deal of thought and consideration, we have decided to divorce.”

In a joint declaration, the couple shared that they have been together for such a large number of “wonderful years”, and that they were going to continue on with “love, kindness, and mutual regard” for one another. They also stated that their primary goal was their son and their whole family as they advanced toward this next phase. They included a request for understanding for their need for privacy. The pair have a 10-year-old boy named Tennessee James.

Reese Witherspoon is a successful actress and producer. The Academy Award winner is also a mother to daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, whom she had with ex-husband and actor Ryan Phillippe. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2008.
