Due to the huge success of the Mugen Train movie, the launch of Demon Slayer season 3 is going to be a bit unusual. On March 3, the premiere of season 3, the Swordsmith Village Arc, will be showcased in a global theatrical event. This event will include the finale of the previous season, along with the first episode of the new installment.

The much-anticipated Demon Slayer season 3 will be making its debut in an unprecedented fashion. On March 3, the Swordsmith Village Arc premier will be showcased through a global theatrical event – one that will encompass the finale of the prior season as well as the first episode for the new season. This debut follows the outstanding box office performance of the Mugen Train movie.

It's estimated that the Swordsmith Village Arc should cover around 25 chapters of the manga source material, similar to the Entertainment District Arc, which would make it a 10-12 episode season.

This season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be focusing on two of the Hashiras, Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokitoh, and their adversary, Hantengu, who stands as Upper Rank Four of the Twelve Kizuki. This clone-based demon's abilities are unknown, but the current pace of the series has many fans believing that the show is likely heading towards its end by season 4. However, there is no confirmation as yet that this is the case, and the possibility remains that the story might go beyond this point.
