Team Hanscom Supports Charitable Cause During Annual CFC Drive
The 2022 annual Combined Federal Campaign at Hanscom Air Force Base came to a close on the 14th of January, with organizers reaching 98 percent of their goal. Mark Wyatt from the 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs stated this information.

The annual workplace charity campaign commenced in November at Hanscom Air Force Base, raising more than $44,877.00.
Capt. Shirley Ye and Master Sgt. Vanessa Jessup, the CFC co-coordinators, along with their keyworker team, were responsible for leading the CFC drive at the base.
Ye commented, “It was motivating to observe the altruism of Team Hanscom during this year’s campaign, especially given its late start. The base community offered up their time and money to benefit various organizations in need.”
The objective of this year's campaign was to raise $46,000 while also making contact with every military and civilian federal employee on the base. Participants were given the choice to make a single donation, deduct a fixed amount from each salary, or offer volunteer hours.
Hanscom is a contributor of the New England Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which incorporates various other federal organisations in the New England region. Results from the CFC New England campaign as of 17th January show that more than 2,100 federal workers in that area have contributed $1.4 million and given over 575 hours.
For over six decades, federal employees have contributed over $8.6 billion to assist those in need both domestically and globally. The CFC, managed by the Office of Personnel Management, is the designated workplace giving campaign for federal staff and retirees.
